What to expect during your getaway
Day 1: Québec City → La Malbaie
Date: October 23, 2025
- Departure: Between 6:00 AM and 10:30 AM, depending on the boarding point chosen (see details at the bottom of the page)
Departure for the charming Charlevoix region. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the Safran Nordique saffron farm, located on an exceptional site. Learn more about saffron cultivation as well as their range of saffron-based and cosmetic products.
Check-in at Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu and take advantage of the hotel’s many amenities. Overlooking the majestic St. Lawrence River, the hotel offers a variety of on-site activities, including indoor and outdoor pools, an iconic golf course, and its close proximity to the Casino de Charlevoix.

Day 2: La Malbaie → Baie-Sainte-Catherine → Québec City
Date: October 24, 2025
In the morning, board the Cavalier Maxim and enjoy a delicious plated brunch on board. During the cruise, enjoy a varied program: a lecture on the history of the St. Lawrence River, games and entertainment, as well as the expertise of a naturalist guide who will share insights about the whales, the fjord, and the St. Lawrence lighthouses.
Next, savour a three-course lunch, including an appetizer, main course, and dessert, for an unforgettable bistronomic experience. In the late afternoon, disembark in Québec City, followed by the return journey.
