ITINERARY
LE FORFAIT
1 – GATINEAU–LAVAL–MONTREAL–QUEBEC CITY–BAIE-COMEAU (861 KM)
Departure from Gatineau to Baie-Comeau, via Montreal and Quebec City. Pitstop for lunch. Settle for your night in Baie-Comeau.
2 – BAIE-COMEAU–GODBOUT–HAVRE-ST-PIERRE (447 KM)
Visit of the Pointe-des-Monts Lighthouse. Each of the seven levels of this historical monument is dedicated to a theme. Through various themes, you will learn more about the work and life of the lighthouse keepers, the navigation back then as well as the local ship wrecks. You will then stay a hotel for two nights. (Breakfast)
3 – EXCURSION TO NATASHQUAN (314 KM)
Accompanied by a local guide, explore Natashquan, a small village ofren mentioned in the work of poet and singer Gilles Vigneault. Enjoy free time by strolling on the beach, up until the “Galets”, old fish houses part of the cultural heritage. Visit an old school or meet in front of Gilles Vigneault’s house. Return to Havre-Saint-Pierre (Breakfast)
4 – HAVRE-ST-PIERRE–SEPT-ÎLES (300 KM)
Departure to Sept-Îles. In the morning, you will do a 3.5-hour cruise and head towards the Mingan Archipelago National Park. Since its creation in 1984, the park has been protecting the site’s exceptional beauty while also highlighting its heritage. You will be fascinated by the magical setting of its monoliths sculpted by the passsage of time. You will then stop at the Rivière-au-Tonnerre church, one of the only norman inspired in America, entirely built with wood. You will also get to discover the small orange fruit of de Maison de la Chicoutai region. End your day with a stay at a Sept-Îles hotel for one night. (Breakfast)
5 – SEPT-ÎLES–BAIE-COMEAU (275 KM)
Head to Baie-Comeau. In the morning, visit the Jean-Lesage Generating Station infrastructures, also known as Manic-2**, the main electricity transportation line distributing 735 000 volts through the world from one of the planet’s biggest hollowed out gravity dams. Visit the Jardin des glaciers and learn more about the last glaciation and climate change with the multimedia exhibition “L’Aventure Boréale 20 000 ans sous les glaces”. Settle at a Baie-Comeau hotel for one night. (Breakfast)

6 – BAIE-COMEAU–QUÉBEC–MONTRÉAL–LAVAL–GATINEAU (851 KM)
Roam the magnificent region of Charlevoix, inspiration for many local painters, poets, writers and musicians. Stop in Baie-Saint-Paul before driving to Gatineau, via Quebec City and Montreal where the arrival is planned in the evening. (Breakfast)
