DAY 1 – QUEBEC

Set off to discover Quebec City, the province’s capital! Stroll in the Quartier Petit Champlain and bask in history and local flavours. Enjoy the many exhibitions featured at the Musée de la civilisation, including the famous ”Pompéi. Immortal City”. Settle at the Concorde Hotel for two nights.

DAY 2 – ESCAPE ON THE RIVER CRUISE

Sail aboard the AML Louis Jolliet for a 20-kilometre cruise and explore the river. Admire the Old Capital, the Montmorency Fall and the Île d’Orléans from the best vantage point. Enjoy fresh air and take wonderful pictures. Hop in your car and visit the charming Île d’Orléans where many local attractions await you.

DAY 3 – SAGUENAY (2H17 / 211 KM)

Drive along the Route 175 and head towards Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean! Admire the many lakes and body of waters boarding the road and capture their beauty with your camera. Once arrived, make a pitstop at the Économusée Délices du Lac-Saint-Jean and learn more about this region known for its blueberries. At the museum, discover everything there is to know about the making of blueberry jam. Sit back and relax at the Montagnais Hotel for two nights.

DAY 4 – ZOO SAUVAGE DE SAINT-FÉLICIEN

Visit the Zoo sauvage de Saint-Félicien, renowned for its efforts when it comes to the boreal fauna conservation. With its population of close to a 100 species of animals, the Zoo is one of the most diversified in North America. A wonderful day awaits you.

DAY 5 – TADOUSSAC (1H30 / 126 KM)

Take the road boarding the Saguenay River and get to Tadoussac, a maritime crossroad located between the St. Lawrence River and the Saguenay Fjord. Settle comfortably in downtown Tadoussac for two nights. Visit the Marine Mammal Interpretation Centre to learn all there is to know about whales, these gigantic mammals inhabiting the region’s water.

In the afternoon, you will be driven to a safe Bear Watching site. You will admire bears in the woods as a guide unveils all the secrets surrounding their habitat and way of living.

DAY 6 – WHALE WATCHING BOAT TOUR

Set sail to meet sea giants in one of our comfortable boats while naturalist guides teach you more about whales inhabiting the Maritime St. Lawrence estuary. Come aboard for an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park.

DAY 7 – LÉVIS (3H19 / 235 KM)

Drive towards Lévis and get a last look of this magnificent scenic route. This city will charm you. Admire the region’s beauty on the famous Parcours des anses where you will stroll along the river for miles on end. Make a pitstop at the Chutes-de-la-Chaudière Park and discover the suspension footbridge. Settle at the Sheraton Hotel for one night.

 

DAY 8 – CRUISE AND VISIT OF GROSSE-ÎLE

Before going home, make sure to stop by Grosse-Île. This historical site, inaccessible for many decades, will let you unveil its many mysteries! Accompanied by Parks Canada guides, visit a quarantine station, once used to prevent epidemics, that greeted thousands of immigrants between 1832 and 1937.
