ITINERARY
LE FORFAIT
DAY 1 – QUEBEC CITY
Visit the gorgeous Quebec City with the Red Bus City Tour. Discover the city’s main historical sites such as the Plains of Abraham, the Basilica, the Citadel as well as the famous Château Frontenac, part of the UNESCO World Heritage.
Take memorable pictures of the fortifications! Explore the Parliament, home to the National Assembly, and its bronze statues representing Quebec’s renowned politicians. Choose amongst the many restaurants offered. Settle at the Concorde Hotel for two nights.
DAY 2 – QUEBEC CITY
Set off and discover the capital by walking in the Quartier Petit Champlain, rich in history and local flavours. Enjoy one of the many exhibitions featured at the Musée de la civilisation, including the famous ”Pompéi. Immortal City”.
DAY 3 – CHARLEVOIX (1H36 / 122 KM)
Drive along the Route 138 and enjoy one of the most beautiful scenic routes of Quebec to reach Charlevoix, famous amongst painters and craftsmen. Plan a pitstop at the Astroblème de Charlevoix that will reveal the region’s origin story. Sit back and relax for three nights at the Baie-Saint-Paul Hotel.
DAY 4 – TRAIN DE CHARLEVOIX
Discover the wonderful treasures and the beauty of the Charlevoix region. La Malbaie, birthplace of resorts in Canada, awaits you. Hop on the Train de Charlevoix and enjoy breathtaking landscapes.
DAY 5 – MUSÉE DE CHARLEVOIX
Visit the cultural Baie-Saint-Paul and its many art galleries. Explore the Musée de Charlevoix and learn more about the history and art of the population, past and present. Discover the boutiques, restaurants and multiple attractions offered on site.
DAY 6 – TADOUSSAC (2H10 / 133 KM)
Drive a little further and get to Tadoussac via the Baie-Sainte-Catherine ferry. Admire a magnificent view of the St. Lawrence River, once arrived at the shore. Discover the village of Tadoussac, a maritime crossroad located between the river and the Saguenay Fjord.
Plan a visit of the Marine Mammal Interpretation Centre to learn everything there is to know about whales, these sea giants that live in the river. Rest for two nights at the Tadoussac Hotel.
DAY 7 – WHALE WATCHING BOAT TOUR
Did you know that the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park is known as the best whale watching site in the world? Meet these sea giants aboard one of our comfortable boats while naturalist guides teach you more about the different marine mammal species inhabiting the St. Lawrence maritime estuary. Bask in nature like never before!
